Dr. Khurshid Alam
Position: Associate Professor
Dr. Khurshid Alam has done his PhD from University of the Punjab. In 2018, he completed his doctoral dissertation titled The Politics of Identity: A Critical Study of Pakistani Fiction in English. During his doctoral studies, he earned a distinction in MA in philosophy. During his doctoral research, he made an extensive survey of postcolonial Urdu novel and published articles on Qurratulain Hyder and Altaf Hussein Hali. South Asian literary subjectivities, postcolonial knowledge production, Modern Drama and Critical Theory remain core areas of his research interests. He has keen interest in the study of scriptures, especially the Holy Quran. He is awarded with the certificate in Arabic from Department of Arabic.
