Dr. Ayesha Akram
Position: Lecturer
Dr. Ayesha Akram did her PhD from University of Management & Technology, Lahore. During her PhD course work, she has worked on the historiography of Partition-1947, along with the impact of visual adaptations of Partition texts. She has also expanded her interest to the history of colonial and pre-colonial India. She has been selected for a prestigious Visiting Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA (2019) for a master-training in Digital Humanities. She is also the recipient of HEC's Research Fellowship for University of Exeter, United Kingdom (2019-2020), as a part of her PhD research. In collaboration with the British Council Lahore, Ms. Akram has been in the forefront in initiating the IELTS programme at the University of Education Lahore.
