Nida Ahsan has done MPhil in English Literature from Institute of English Studies. Her masters’ research titled ‘A Comparative Analysis of O’Neill’s Dramaturgy and Expressionist Art’ was inter-disciplinary, comparing expressionist paintings with dramaturgy. Her MPhil thesis titled ‘Exploring Spatiality in Collected Stories (2008) by Anita Desai’, was on spatial studies in literature. Her research interests include interdisciplinary perspectives in spatial literary studies, geo criticism, literary geography and spatial humanities. She has also presented papers in international conferences on gendered spaces, city space and its literary representation. Her poetry has published in Voice of Rights and An Anthology of English Poems by Pakistani Writers.
