Mamoona Batool has done M.A. in English Literature from University of Punjab with the honor of achieving University Gold Medal. She has done M.Phil. in English Literature from University of the Punjab. She wrote her MPhil dissertation titled Relationship Patterns Formed by Peripheral Characters in Such a Long Journey by Rohinton Mistryon, on Parsi Fiction delving into a comprehensive study of the diminishing community's discreet culture, values, dreams, aspirations, fears and disappointments. She was the editor of the Institute's annual newsletter ' Dream Seekers' for its 2013-14, 2015-16 and 2016- 17 issues. Her specialized area of study is classical and modern fiction. Her current academic interests include the emerging trends of postmodern and posthumanist fiction like the effects of trauma and displacement and the impact of Artificial Intelligence.
